- Annual music camp - Every year, a selected group of students in year five and six from the program are given an opportunity to attend a music camp with students from the other three schools. The camp allows for intensive work shopping and concert band and ensemble development.
- Concerts - The program sees the four schools combine for an annual MVIMP concert. Joint rehearsals for the concerts bands and ensembles are conducted under tutor supervision and direction. We also have an annual AVPS concert prior to the combined concert.
